Claude Hubbard
Claude was born in April, 1959 in the thriving metropolis of Oak Ridge, Tennessee (which means he is older than dirt!). In 1977 he graduated from high school at Mercersburg Academy in Pennsylvania and entered the United States Naval Academy.
After 4 (very long) years he graduated and was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps. Claude served for 13 years on active duty as an infantry officer and intelligence officer, finishing with the elite 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion.
It was in 1983, while serving as a rifle platoon commander during the fighting in Beirut, Lebanon that Claude became a Christian. In November 1993, after much prayer, Claude left the Marines to attend Westminster Theological Seminary.
Claude has served as a pastor at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City and several of her daughter churches.
Pastor Claude is married to Dr. Shiu-Lin Tsai. They have twins, Joshua and Christiana, who were born on July 21, 2003. Fortunately, the children look like their mother.
Claude intends to have a lot of fun at this year's conference!
