Workshop 1 - How to Hear the Voice of God
We live in a busy, fast-paced world. There are many voices that influence our thoughts and crowd our minds. When we do stop to pray, we are often doing all of the talking. However, God is waiting to speak to us. “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.” (Isaiah 30:21). The people in the Bible, who learned to hear the voice of God, witnessed his power. Do you want more of his presence, more of his voice, more of his power? We will discuss how God speaks to us today and will provide a practical experience on quieting ourselves in listening prayer so that we can hear the voice of God.

Workshop 2 - The Truth About Cats and Dogs
Relationship experts say that men and women are about as different and also often at odds as cats and dogs. True, men and women are different, but how, really? This relationship gets even more tricky when the two try to experience this thing called “love” together. Some expect love to just happen sooner or later while others find it to be forever illusive. Guys are so confusing. Girls are weird. Is this how they’re supposed to be?
We’ll discuss some of the different questions you have about the “L” word, perhaps look at why we do what we do as guys or girls and pinpoint a few major problems between the male and female populations. The truth is we’re not cats and dogs, thankfully, but meant to be so much much more than we realize.

Workshop 2 - Where is the Love? Fighting with all Your Heart
We have memorized John 3:16. We can say the Lord's prayer in our sleep. We can sing the doxology backwards. We can present the Four Spiritual Laws with our eyes closed. But something is missing when we "fight the good fight." with no one to fight...Learn about how Lifeboats, Pickets, the Four Loves, Dog and Cats could help give us a frame of understanding to our faith. If you want to be challenged to look at your faith and how it has a relevant place in our world and why our faith doesn't just end at the Cross but it is where is starts. We will cover Genesis (the Fall) and how God brought Christ to experience the joy of our salvation and explore some sinister reasons why the longest distance is sometimes between our mind and our heart....

Workshop 2 - Faith Under Fire
Do you find it hard to be a Christian around your friends? What about at school? How does a Christian live in the world AND follow Jesus at the same time? In this workshop we’ll be looking at how to live and cope as Christians in a world that doesn’t care what the bible says. A couple hot topics we will be dealing with are sex and poker. This seminar will challenge you to live out your faith and be a light in the dark.

Workshop 1 - The Spiritual Disciplines
Many of us have a hard time doing what is right. Sometimes it is because we falter. Other times, we are often confused as to what is right and what is wrong. Where do I get the strength to do what is right? Where do I find the grace when I fail? Where do I find the wisdom to determine what is right and what is wrong? The early church fathers faced these same difficulties…and they won! They found strength to do the right thing in the face of adversity and they found wisdom to discern what God found to be right and wrong. They did it through what are called the “means of grace”. Come join us for a fresh look at the spiritual disciplines as we explore prayer, bible study and more. Your life will change forever!

Workshop 2 - Supernatural Worship for the Super-Natural Person
God created Worship to be a transcendent experience. Too often we make worship completely natural when it is anything but! How does the Super-Natural Person worship a Supernatural God? What can we expect to happen as we worship? How is worship a weapon of spiritual warfare? And how can we use the ministry of worship to care for others? We will explore these questions and others as we take a fresh look at Biblical Worship.

Workshop 2 - "Are you gonna go my way?"
We've all heard that to be a Christian is to be "Christ-like". BUT, to be a disciple is much more than being like the rabbi (teacher)! Now, Jesus was a rabbi. So what did that mean for his
disciples then and what does it mean for his disciples today? Combined with the "dos and don'ts" of discipleship, we will attempt to jump into the 1st century Jewish culture and explore what it meant to be a disciple of a rabbi
then. And with that new awareness, we may better understand what it means to be a disciple today.
