JULIANNE M. COX
Julianne has been the Assistant Professor of New Testament and Associate Director of Academic Programs at Alliance Theological Seminary since 1990

Education: B.A., Toccoa Falls College; M.Div., Alliance Theological Seminary; S.T.M., Yale Divinity School; Doctoral Studies in Process, Fordham University

Peter Ong
Peter Ong is currently serving as the Director of Chinese Christian Herald Crusades' Herald Youth Center. The Herald Youth Center's mission is to Unite, Organize and Mobilize the Body of Christ to Reach the Chinese Youth for the Glory of God. Peter Ong graduated from New York University and worked in the Asian American non-profit sector for five years before being called to full-time youth ministry. He attends Redeemer Presbyterian Church and has served on the Board of Directors for Hope For New York, Redeemer Presbyterian's mercy and justice ministry. He is currently the chair of Project Jericho, a newly formed cooperative ministry of the Herald Youth Center-its mission is to reach the Chinese youth for Christ. He is also a Board Member of Eastern Chinese Bible Conference and serves on the Executive Committee on Pastoral And Laity Ministries. He also one of the founding members of the Coalition of Urban Youth Workers. He loves his pet fish, spends a lot of time on AIM with teens and pursuing to establish a network of Chinese Prayer Network in Chinatown with a monthly early morning Prayer Walk. Come and talk with him, he is a really cool guy!

 

ANNA LEE
Anna Lee, former social worker and journalist, now serves full-time with InterVaristy Christian Fellowship at New York University, building a multi-ethnic community that seeks to nurture and challenge students and faculty with a holistic Gospel as well as proclaim it to those who have not heard. Anna daydreams of being the next female Yao Ming. She also enjoys writing and reading poetry, getting caffeinated, and corny jokes.

 

ELISSA LIN RATHE
Elissa grew up at this conference, having attended her first one way back in 1971! She is now a psychotherapist in private practice with offices in Queens, Manhattan and Yonkers, New York. She is also a partnering professor at Alliance Graduate School of Counseling. Elissa loves working with people and training others. She really believes in furtherance of God's Kingdom through discipleship, and enjoys training others to be competent helpers/providers. She is married and lives with her husband, Alan, in Yonkers.

 

WENDELL WYATT
Wendell Wyatt is the English Ministry Pastor at Christian Testimony Church in Elmhurst, Queens. He was working in corporate data processing when God released him to attend Bible school. It was in the Asian Missionary Prayer Group that God began to birth a love for the people, along with a call to serve in the Chinese community. Wendell and his wife Julie, and their two daughters Nicole and Sarah, have lived in NYC and served at Christian Testimony since 1985.

 

Anita Yu
Anita Yu, from Allentown, PA, is a graduate student at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School near Chicago. She is studying for her Masters of Divinity, and would like to be involved in missions and cross-cultural outreach, women's ministries, and counseling in the local church. In addition to serving as an intern at Lehigh Valley Chinese Christian Church for the summer, Anita hopes to tutor kids, learn to cook, and bond with her family before heading back to the Windy City for her second year of seminary.

 

TOM HUTCHINSON
Tom Hutchinson is an associate pastor of First Baptist Church located in Larksville, Pennsylvania. His primary responsibilities are the oversight of outreach and adult discipleship ministries. He also leads our adult worship ministries. Tom has a deep desire for reaching people for Christ and seeing them grow in their relationship with Him. He has a passion for church planting and developing leaders.

Tom received a Bachelor of Science degree from Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, PA, a Master of Divinity from Baptist Bible Seminary, Clarks Summit, PA and is currently pursuing Doctor of Ministry degree.

He and his wife Charlene have been married for 31 years. They are the parents of two daughters and have four grandchildren.

 

Clarence Agudo
Clarence Agudo took up a double degree in Political Science and Marketing Management at De La Salle University. He served for ten years as broadcaster in a Christian radio station. Clarence has always been fascinated with the study of leadership. In the last 4 years, he has been conducting trainings and workshops in leadership and skills development for a multinational company in the Philippines. He is married to Verna Mae and they have a three-year old son, Lance.

 

Alan Rathe
Alan Rathe has been leading worship for more years than he cares to remember. (It's not that he doesn't like worship-leading-he just doesn't like being reminded that he is no longer a teenager.)

Alan is currently Assistant Pastor at Queens Christian Alliance Church (Flushing), where his primary responsibility is directing Worship Ministries. Before that, Alan and his wife, Elissa, coordinated the worship ministry at Christian Testimony, Elmhurst. Alan's ministry includes leading worship, playing keyboard, writing songs, developing study materials, teaching and training. He received his Masters degree with a focus on Worship, and is currently studying for his doctorate in Worship Studies. Alan serves as an adjunct professor at Alliance Theological Seminary (Nyack), where he teaches a variety of worship-related courses.

 

John Orchanian
Mr. Orchanian has a Bachelors in Science: Chemistry and General Sciences and a Masters Degree in Guidance and Counseling. He worked at the New York State Departments of Social Services at the World Trade Center for three years. He has taught high school chemistry at LaGuardia High School of Music and Art in Manhattan. He speaks to various churches on various topics—Apologetics (defending the Christian faith), Science and the Bible, Counterfeit Christianity (Cults), persecution of Christians. He has been married for 13 years to June Orchanian, was is the first Asian female high school principal in Queens. Mrs. Orchanian is principal of John Bowne High School.

 

JANMING HOU
Pastor Hou was born in Taiwan in 1961. He came to the U.S. to further his academic studies. Shortly after coming to the States, the Lord saved him by His grace in 1987. He continued his studies at Lehigh University, earning a Ph.D. in chemical engineering. However, in 2001, he left the work force to answer God's call to full-time ministry. Janming Hou currently serves as a pastor at Christian Testimony Church in Morris Plains, NJ. He is currently married to Jia-Pei Hou, his wife of 15 years. Over the years they've had two children: Phillip and Rebecca. Besides his family, Pastor Hou also loves Beethoven and Jane Austen.
